Software Engineer

Overview
Our client, a growing consultancy operating across the US, is looking to bring in a strong Software Engineer with a focus on C# to support a pipeline of enterprise projects. You’ll work across multiple client environments, delivering scalable, high-quality solutions within modern Microsoft ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain applications using C# and .NET (Core / .NET 6+)
Contribute across the full software development lifecycle
Build and integrate APIs and distributed systems
Collaborate with architects, product teams, and client stakeholders
Support technical design and architectural decisions
Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
Troubleshoot and optimise performance across applications

Key Skills & Experience
Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET (Core / .NET 6+)
Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices
Solid SQL/database experience (SQL Server preferred)
Exposure to Azure (App Services, Functions, DevOps, etc.)
Understanding of modern engineering practices (CI/CD, testing, version control)
Consultancy or client-facing experience beneficial

Nice to Have
Front-end exposure (React, Angular, etc.)
Experience with Docker / Kubernetes
Event-driven or distributed architecture experience
Experience working across multiple projects or industries

Soft Skills
Strong communication skills
Comfortable working in fast-paced, delivery environments
