We are working with a rapidly growing AI-native healthcare company transforming how healthcare organizations manage patient communication and administrative operations. By combining cutting-edge voice AI with modern software infrastructure, they are building autonomous agents that handle complex workflows such as scheduling, referrals, billing inquiries, and patient support helping providers operate more efficiently while improving access to care.
They are looking for a highly technical Forward Deployed Engineer to join their growing team and work directly with customers to deploy, customize, and scale AI-powered solutions in production healthcare environments.
About the Role
Customer Deployments – Own implementations from initial scoping through production launch, ensuring customers successfully adopt and scale AI-powered workflows.
Integrations & Systems Engineering – Build integrations with healthcare systems, APIs, databases, and third-party platforms to enable seamless workflow automation.
AI Agent Optimization – Configure, test, and improve AI-driven workflows, helping agents perform reliably across a wide range of real-world healthcare use cases.
Data & Performance Analysis – Investigate operational data, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions that improve product performance and customer outcomes.
Product Development – Partner closely with engineering and product teams to build new features, improve platform capabilities, and influence product direction based on customer feedback.
Technical Problem Solving – Troubleshoot complex production issues, design scalable solutions, and act as a trusted technical advisor for customers.
Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with customers, product managers, designers, and engineers to translate operational challenges into robust technical solutions.
About you
Strong software engineering background with experience building production systems and customer-facing applications.
Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, or similar modern programming languages.
Experience working with APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, and system integrations.
Comfortable operating in highly ambiguous environments and taking ownership of projects end-to-end.
Strong communication skills and an interest in working directly with customers to solve complex problems.
Ability to balance technical depth with practical business impact.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience working with AI/LLM-powered products or automation platforms.
Exposure to healthcare, operations technology, workflow systems, or highly regulated industries.
Startup experience and a track record of shipping products in fast-moving environments.
Familiarity with cloud platforms, data pipelines, and modern software infrastructure.
