Title: Pega Developer
Location: St. Paul, MN (hybrid 2x/week)
Duration: 6 month contract-for-hire (conversion salary range $150-180k)
On-Demand Group is seeking an experienced Pega Developer with a strong background in enterprise application development and healthcare technology environments. This role will focus heavily on backend processing, system integrations, and EDI-related development to support critical healthcare operations.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and support scalable applications and workflows using the Pega platform
Build and maintain backend processing solutions and system integrations
Develop and support EDI transactions and interfaces within healthcare ecosystems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and implement technical solutions
Troubleshoot and optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability
Ensure solutions align with healthcare industry standards, compliance, and best practices
Preferred Qualifications
Pega certifications are a plus
Required Qualifications
5+ years of hands-on engineering on the Pega platform Experience working in enterprise healthcare systems or payer/provider environments Familiarity with API integrations, data processing pipelines, and system interoperability Experience with backend processing, integrations, and high-volume transaction workflows Strong understanding of EDI processes and healthcare data exchange Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
The projected hourly range for this position is $80 to $90.
