Key Responsibilities:
Foster a culture of technical excellence and collaboration through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and engineering best practices in an agile environment
Design and implement scalable back-end and front-end systems that power our platform
Work with 3D geometry libraries to create performant, interactive features for CAD and BIM applications
Integrate AI/ML models into user-facing applications, focusing on geometry, optimization, and design automation
Drive technical decisions and contribute to the long-term technical vision of the platform
Design and implement robust backend services and APIs that support complex 3D geometry workflows and AEC data models
Integrate and deploy AI/ML models into production, with a focus on geometry processing, design optimization, and automation
Monitor AI model performance in production using observability and model telemetry practices, identifying regressions, drift, and opportunities to improve reliability
Work with 3D geometry and computational geometry libraries to build performant, scalable features
Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions, helping shape the technical direction of the platform
Contribute to an agile engineering culture — iterating quickly, communicating clearly, and shipping with confidence
Qualifications:
Required:
2+ years of professional full stack and/or backend software engineering experience
Proficiency in Python and experience building production-grade APIs and services
Hands-on experience integrating AI/ML models into backend systems
Working knowledge of 3D or computational geometry concepts
Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases
Experience with cloud infrastructure, containerization, and deployment pipelines
Nice to Have:
Experience with 3D web technologies: Three.js, React Three Fiber
Familiarity with real-time data or messaging systems
Exposure to MLOps practices and model monitoring tooling
Familiarity with BIM and/or CAD workflows, data formats, or tooling (e.g. IFC, Revit, Rhino, or similar)
Background or strong interest in the AEC industry

This is a hybrid position based in Atlanta, GA, with Tuesdays and Thursdays in-person for collaboration, mentorship, and training.
