As a Software Engineer at ANPC, you will be an integral part of our engineering team, developing real-time, safety-critical software applications. You will play a key role in a multi-year product evolution, directly impacting the safety and reliability of our systems.
Essential Job Functions
Help drive a multi-year transition of our legacy architecture from redundant single-core processes to a modern, single multi-core chipset solution.
Refine system requirements into robust software requirements, ensuring the software performs flawlessly under all foreseeable operating conditions.
Participate in designing a modular hardware/software architecture, utilizing partitioning strategies to optimize compliance with Design Assurance Level (DAL) constraints.
Author high-quality software detailed design documentation and ensure strict requirements traceability across the lifecycle, aligned with DO-278A and DO-330 standards.
Embrace Agile methodologies by creating/sizing stories, managing product backlogs, and actively participating in continuous integration and automated verification activities.
Education and Work Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related engineering discipline.
Proven experience developing modular system/software architectures, as well as creating downstream detailed design, coding, and verification artifacts (plans, procedures, and reports).
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Characteristics
Strong experience in Embedded Systems development.
Proficiency in C or C++.
Solid background in Agile product development, with an emphasis on incremental development and continuous integration (CI) pipelines.
Excellent technical writing skills, with the ability to author clear, concise software requirements and design artifacts that require minimal oversight for certification submittals.
