About The Role
In this role, you will focus on the verification of ARM architecture based SoCs and subsystem verification. Your work will ensure that our products achieve optimal power efficiency without compromising performance. You will collaborate closely with architecture, design, and post-silicon teams to validate and various SoC features, contributing to our cutting-edge AI compute solutions.

The Design Verification team at Ampere is dedicated to ensuring that every product meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency. We are a collaborative, fast-paced group, committed to leaving no stone unturned in our verification processes.
What You'll Achieve
Own verification of 1 or more SoC level features
Develop verification strategy, requirements, environments, tools, and methodologies
Become an expert on the feature architecture, understand real world use models, and understand interactions with other parts of the SOC
Develop detailed test plans for both pre-silicon and post-silicon environments.
Architect, design, and implement test benches and verification environments.
Create targeted and random test generators to find bugs
Analyze and debug test failures and recommend fixes
Develop coverage monitors and achieve targeted coverage metrics for features.
Support post-silicon validation activities as necessary
Provide technical guidance, coaching, and mentorship to other engineers in your areas of expertise
About You
B.Tech in Electronics Engineering or Computer Engineering with 5+ years, or M.Tech with 3+ years of experience in IP or SoC verification
Knowledge of standard debug architecture protocols such as JTAG interface, hardware triggers, breakpoints, tracing, ARM core sight and hands-on experience in verifying them
Understanding of CPU architecture, power management techniques, coherent fabrics, and interconnects and utilizing debug features in post-silicon is a plus.
Proficient in industry-standard HDL languages (Verilog, System Verilog, VHDL) and simulation tools.
Experience in developing verification environments using languages such as SVTB UVM/OVM.
Experience in ARM, RISCV, or x86 architecture and assembly language programming and debug
Proficiency in programming languages like C, C++, Perl, and Python for automation tasks.
Experience in automating verification tasks and ability to apply generative AI where needed
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail and analytical/problem-solving abilities.
