Required Qualifications
M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Applied Math, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
Strong background in real-time embedded DSP, signal processing, controls, estimation, or dynamic systems.
Hands-on experience implementing algorithms in C/C++ on embedded platforms.
Strong Python or MATLAB experience for modeling, simulation, data analysis, and test-vector generation.
Experience with at least several of the following:
Digital signal processing
Wireless or radar baseband processing
Synchronization, correlation, matched filtering, or channel estimation
Kalman filtering, sensor fusion, tracking, or state estimation
System identification and dynamic modeling
Embedded Linux, RTOS, DSP, ARM, MCU, FPGA, or heterogeneous SoC platforms
Fixed-point implementation, real-time optimization, memory / DMA / latency analysis
Ability to work from both mathematical models and real hardware data.
Comfortable debugging systems using logs, IQ captures, scopes, logic analyzers, and hardware-in-the-loop tests.
Ability to write clear technical documentation, interface specifications, and validation reports.
Comfortable working in an early-stage startup environment with incomplete specifications and fast iteration.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in one or more of the following areas is highly valuable:
mmWave radar or wireless sensing
Phased-array systems or analog / hybrid beamforming
AoA / DoA estimation
MIMO radar, FMCW radar, UWB, WiGig, 5G NR mmWave PHY, or SDR
Beam management, beam tracking, or beam calibration
NXP DSP / VSPA, TI DSP, Qualcomm / modem PHY, FPGA DSP, or similar embedded DSP platforms
Robotics relative navigation, UAV landing, autonomous docking, or GPS-denied navigation
Precision mechatronics, servo control, high-performance motion systems, or optical / imaging systems
Defense, aerospace, robotics, semiconductor, or medical-device product development
Hardware-in-the-loop testing and production calibration systems
