Description :
BS or MS Degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Automotive Engineering, Systems Engineering, or equivalent.
Proven experience in Level 3 or Level 4 autonomous driving systems (urban environments required).
Experience creating driving simulation scenarios from scratch (not limited to log replay or highway ADAS validation).
Strong understanding of autonomous vehicle behavior in complex urban environments (intersections, pedestrians, cyclists, traffic lights, dense traffic interactions).
Safety-related experience is required (behavior modeling, simulation-based validation, system-level safety assessment).
Strong development experience in Python within a Linux environment, including command-line workflows.
Hands-on experience working with advanced simulation platforms (Applied Intuition, CARLA, LGSVL, Matlab/Simulink, or equivalent).
Strong interest in full-stack autonomous systems (perception → prediction → planning → control interaction).

Job Description Details:
Design and build autonomous driving simulation scenarios from scratch for urban Level 3 / Level 4 autonomy.
Model complex urban driving environments including intersections, unprotected turns, pedestrian crossings, cyclists, traffic signals, and multi-agent interactions.
Configure and control dynamic agents (vehicles, pedestrians, cyclists) programmatically using scripting or scenario description languages.
Develop, modify, and maintain Python scripts to generate and manage simulation scenarios in a Linux-based environment.
Execute simulations through command-line interfaces and manage simulation configurations and workflows.
Analyze autonomous vehicle responses in dense urban environments with a focus on safety, realism, prediction accuracy, and motion planning behavior.
Identify unsafe, unrealistic, or unstable behaviors and contribute to system robustness improvements.
Collaborate with autonomy software, perception, planning, and safety teams in an agile development environment.
Document scenario assumptions, configurations, edge cases, and validation results.

Profile :
Junior to Advanced level
Simulation Engineer – Urban Autonomous Driving
Strong system-level thinker
Comfortable working in complex multi-agent environments
Autonomous, technically hands-on, and proactive
Strong safety and urban driving awareness

Must Have :
Experience with Level 3 or Level 4 autonomous vehicle systems (urban driving context).
Experience creating simulation scenarios from scratch (not only log replay or L2 ADAS validation).
Strong understanding of urban traffic behavior and multi-agent interactions.
Hands-on experience in Python scripting.
Comfortable working in Linux and using command-line tools.
Experience configuring and controlling simulation agents programmatically.
Ability to analyze planning and behavior responses in complex environments.
Strong safety-oriented mindset.
Ability to work in cross-functional autonomy teams.

Good to Have :
Experience with Applied Intuition or advanced autonomy simulation platforms.
Experience modeling edge cases in urban environments (jaywalking pedestrians, occlusions, dense traffic).
Knowledge of motion planning, prediction systems, or behavioral planning logic.
Awareness of safety frameworks for autonomous systems.
Experience in fully driverless or robotaxi environments.
Experience mentoring or supporting junior engineers.
