Responsibilit
iesWe are currently seeking a Transportation Design Engineer for immediate employm
entin our Carmel, Indiana offices. The Successful candidate will have demonstra
tedprofessional experience in a wide variety of roadway and highway projec
ts.
Below are a few of the key qualifications they are looking
for:Perform complex engineering road and highway tasks and particularly important engineering work efficiently and accurat
ely.Extract engineering information from CAD drawings. Prepares engineering computations, material quantity takeoffs, estimates, surveys, and desi
gns.Complete a variety of assignments such as drawings, specifications, and other materials suitable for procurement and construction purpo
ses.Frequently interface with other Engineering disciplines as well as other departme
nts.Provide technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and other Engineers working on the same proj
ect.May be required to sign and seal documents as the professional Engineer of Record, as appropriate, ensuring compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and ordinan
ces.Design experience in structures and/or highway Department of Transportation (DOT) proj
ectsPE License, NCEES certified with ability to be licensed in any S
tate
Job Require
mentsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and 6+ years of related work experi
ence.PE in Indiana and or Ohio prefe
rred.Experience with design and plan development for DOT and transit projects; INDOT and ODOT pref
erredProficiency with OpenRoads / MicroStation and or Civil 3D / Au
toCADDiversified knowledge of engineering principles and prac
ticesDiversified knowledge of technology, materials, equipment, design concepts and construction techn
iques
