We are pleased to announce an opening for a Senior Test Engineer to join our Engineering Services Division in Huntsville, Alabama. You'll be part of a rapidly growing team operating across missile defense, cybersecurity, test range modernization, and space systems. The right candidate will support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) mission to develop and deploy a layered Missile Defense System (MDS) defending the United States, its deployed forces, allies, and friends from missile attacks in all phases of flight.
Responsibilities
This role provides technical support within the MDA Joint Integrated Fire Control Capability Office (DCX), under its Decision Dominance Command & Control (DC) organization. The DCX team focuses on testing, integrating, and deploying technologies like the Joint Track Management Capability (JTMC) Bridge with the Missile Defense System and U.S. Allies.
We're looking for someone with Integrated Air and Missile Defense experience who understands interoperability and communications, can build test plans, and lead large, diverse test teams that collect data to inform deployment decisions and making smart real-time calls to keep testing on track.
Duties Include
Building detailed test plans with U.S. partners and Allies to accomplish test objectives
Running test events across disparate teams, countries, and personalities
Writing clear post-test and observation reports that allow senior leaders to make quick decisions after key events
Deploying to test locations and organizing staff to prepare for testing
Preferred Qualifications
M.S. or M.A. degree
20+ years of experience with Air & Missile Defense Systems
Significant test & evaluation experience, especially with MDA
Demonstrated ability to lead and provide direction to test teams
Clearance & Work Requirements
Active SECRET clearance required, with ability to obtain TS/SCI
Must work on-site at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama
