A global organization in the medical device manufacturing industry is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of automated test solutions supporting new product introduction (NPI) and high-volume manufacturing environments. This role will work closely with engineering and operations teams to ensure robust, scalable, and reliable test systems that drive product quality and manufacturing efficiency. This role is based in the Greater Minneapolis, MN area.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy automated test systems, fixtures, and software for NPI and production environments.
Collaborate with hardware, software, and product development teams to define test requirements, improve test coverage, and support product launches.
Develop, maintain, and optimize automated test programs and system architectures; LabVIEW and TestStand experience is highly preferred.
Analyze test data, troubleshoot failures, and implement process improvements to enhance product quality, yield, and manufacturing performance.
Provide technical support, training, and documentation for manufacturing and test personnel while ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
5+ years of experience in test engineering, manufacturing test development, or automated test systems.
Strong understanding of electronics, instrumentation, data acquisition, and measurement techniques.
LabVIEW and/or TestStand development experience.
Experience integrating hardware and software into production test environments.
Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
