What You Can Expect

Design and execute test plans for firmware, drivers, protocols, and system-level hardware interactions
Perform hardware–firmware integration testing across embedded platforms and peripherals
Develop and maintain automated test frameworks (Python/Bash) with a focus on regression testing
Track, manage, and validate software defects; support root cause analysis using embedded debug tools
Analyze firmware performance metrics (CPU, memory, power, boot time, latency)
Own regression testing and contribute to firmware release qualification
Continuously improve test processes and quality practices

What We're Looking For

Marvell is seeking a Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of firmware and embedded software tightly integrated with advanced hardware platforms. You will work closely with firmware, hardware, and system teams to deliver robust, production-ready solutions.
Bachelor’s/Master's degree in EE, CE, CS, or related field with 7 to 15 years in Software Quality Assurance, including 5+ years in firmware/embedded testing
Strong knowledge of embedded systems, RTOS, and peripheral interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART, GPIO)
Proficiency in C/C++ and scripting languages (Python/Bash)
Hands-on experience with hardware debugging tools (JTAG/SWD, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers)
Experience with Git, defect tracking, and test management tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with CI/CD for embedded systems
Knowledge of TCP/IP networking
Exposure to HIL, simulation, or emulation environments
