Location: Arizona (USA)
Annual Salary: $180,000 - $220,000 per annum

A hugely successful Global leading engineering company located in Arizona (USA) specializing in the industries of Satellite and Space are now hiring a brand-new Senior SATCOM Algorithm Engineering Manager to join the team and business during an exciting period of growth. This position is purely an individual contributor and technical lead, not managing people.
Salary on offer:
The annual salary on offer for the successful Senior SATCOM Algorithm Engineering Manager is $180,000 - $220,000 per annum. The Senior SATCOM Algorithm Engineering Manager will need to be a USA Citizen.
Summary of the Senior SATCOM Algorithm Engineering Role:
The successful Senior SATCOM Algorithm Engineering will support the architecture and requirements definition, systems design, and systems integration of next generation satellite products and related signal processing products and technologies.
Senior SATCOM Algorithm Engineering Manager Key Skills:
Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Wireless Communications, or related degree
10+ years of industry experience
Strong SATCOM systems engineering experience
High level architecture of Communications systems
Algorithm development and digital signal processing - satcom preferred for link budgeting
Knowledge of FPGA based implementation (modems)
Simulation tools like MATLAB
Experience with lab measurement tools - need to follow design all the way through to testing hands on with hardware in the lab
Development of FPGA code with VHDL
Satcom or wireless waveform knowledge preferred (DVB-S2, DVB-S2X, or other 5G non terrestrial waveforms.)
Industry experience – Satellite, Space, Wireless technologies, SATCOM, Aerospace, Defence
