2. About the Opportunity:
The Senior QA Engineer will lead the development and implementation of the Quality Assurance strategy for the organization’s healthcare software solutions. This role is essential in ensuring data quality and software reliability, contributing directly to delivering meaningful insights to customers and supporting the overall effectiveness of the data platform.
3. Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute Quality Assurance strategies and test plans
• Create and manage test data and cases for new features and system-wide testing
• Automate unit tests progressing towards continuous integration and deployment
• Ensure production quality through pre- and post-deployment testing
• Collaborate with development, product, and customer teams to investigate data issues and propose solutions
• Verify data quality and adherence to specifications using complex SQL as needed
• Review developer queries for standards and performance
• Report testing progress and issues to stakeholders
• Support system launches and monitoring, including off-hours as necessary
4. Requirements:
• Experience setting up and maintaining QA environments and test data management
• Proficiency in system, regression, functional, black box, and white box testing
• Experience with automated end-to-end testing frameworks
• Strong SQL skills for database querying and extraction
• Basic programming skills in Python
• Understanding of data concepts including ETL, data structures, metadata, and workflow management
• Experience with data integration tools such as Talend
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Excellent communication skills
• B.S. degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• Salary range: $115,000 to $130,000
• Additional benefits package included
