Senior Product Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

This opportunity offers a chance to join the Intelligent Sensing Group (ISG) at onsemi within the Product Engineering team, contributing to the bring-up, validation, and mass production of mixed-signal image sensors. Selected candidates will be responsible from driving the product from definition phase to market release.

Responsibilities

Performance Objectives:

Drive development of new products that satisfy demands for cost/performance and development schedule
Seek new ideas, develop innovation and creativity throughout the team
Work with NPD teams to develop validation and test plans
Execution of product validation requirements by working with cross functional teams, including Design, DFT, and Test Engineers
Team oriented with can do attitude, enthusiastic in solving challenging issues
Must have confidence to act quickly and decisively when required

Qualifications

Qualification Requirements:

Bachelor or master's degree in Electronics ,Electrical or related discipline;
5+ years’ relevant industry experience in bench validation or characterization of both analog and digital blocks.
Experience with statistical tools like JMP, datapower or equivalent for yield enhancement activities.
good communication and written skills and delivering high quality projects on time.
Previous work experience with CMOS image sensors is a plus.
Previous work on domains other than characterization & validation like board design, analog/digital design, verification, DFT pattern generation is a plus.
Good understanding of silicon bring-up, production test flows, usage of lab equipment like oscilloscopes, signal generator, logic analyzer, etc.
Experience with programming languages (e.g. C, VB, Python)
