Company Description: GallerIndia (LMD Hitech India Pvt Ltd) is a 30-year-old electronics & engineering manufacturer of smart energy meters, RTUs, IoT devices, power electronics, and BMS serving customers like BSNL, Jio, Reliance, L&T, and Indus Infra. We're growing our R&D team and looking for a senior engineer who can own product development end-to-end, from circuit design to firmware to the working product.

We're looking for an experienced Senior Power Electronics Engineer to lead the design and development of our power conversion products, from concept and topology selection through to production-ready, field-proven hardware.

Role Description
Design and develop power electronics systems across our product range - rectifiers, SMPS, UPS, DC-DC and AC-DC converters, and battery management systems
Select and design power topologies, magnetics, and control schemes for efficiency, reliability, and cost
Create schematics and guide PCB layout for high-current and high-voltage power circuits
Run circuit simulation and analysis (e.g. LTspice, PLECS) to validate designs before build
Design for thermal management, EMI/EMC compliance, and electrical safety
Take products through prototyping, testing, debugging, certification, and into mass production
Work closely with our embedded, firmware, mechanical, and production teams to integrate power stages into complete products
Define component selection, derating, and BOM with manufacturability and supply chain in mind

Qualifications
7+ years of hands-on experience designing power electronics products - UPS, rectifiers, SMPS, telecom power, energy meters, or similar
Strong command of power conversion topologies, switching converters, and closed-loop control design
Practical experience with magnetics design (transformers, inductors), MOSFET/IGBT selection, and gate drive
Proficiency in schematic design and power PCB layout, plus simulation tools
Solid understanding of thermal design, EMI/EMC, and relevant safety/compliance standards (e.g. IEC/IS)
Hands-on lab skills - oscilloscope, power analyzer, bring-up, and debugging
A track record of taking power products from design through to production

Good to have
Experience with telecom DC power systems (–48V), busbars, or PDUs
Familiarity with battery packs and BMS design
Exposure to energy metering or industrial/telecom power applications
Experience coordinating with firmware teams on digital control and monitoring
