Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Manager Semiconductor Test Manufacturing to lead high-volume semiconductor test operations at an advanced assembly, testing, marking and packaging facility. The position will be responsible for manufacturing performance, production readiness, capacity, yield, quality, cost and cycle time across the test organization.
The role requires extensive semiconductor manufacturing leadership experience, strong knowledge of ATE-based production testing and the ability to build disciplined, data-driven operations in a 24 7 manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead high-volume semiconductor test manufacturing operations across assigned production areas.
Own manufacturing performance for safety, quality, yield, output, cost, cycle time and delivery.
Develop and execute test-manufacturing strategies aligned with production and business plans.
Establish production readiness for new and existing DRAM, NAND, memory-module or semiconductor products.
Manage production capacity, equipment utilization, staffing, shift coverage and product-mix requirements.
Partner with test engineering, equipment engineering, process engineering and product engineering teams.
Monitor test yield, retest rates, equipment downtime, throughput and operational efficiency.
Drive structured problem-solving for production excursions, yield losses and equipment-related constraints.
Implement manufacturing controls, operating procedures and escalation mechanisms.
Support new-product introduction and transfer of products from engineering into volume manufacturing.
Drive cycle-time reduction, cost improvement, productivity and manufacturing excellence initiatives.
Maintain compliance with internal quality systems, customer requirements and applicable industry standards.
Establish performance dashboards and use production data to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
Build manufacturing capability through recruitment, training, mentoring and succession planning.
Lead supervisors, managers, engineers and production teams in a 24 7 manufacturing environment.
Coordinate with planning, materials, quality and supply-chain teams to meet output and delivery commitments.
Promote Lean Manufacturing, TPM, automation and AI-enabled decision-making across operations.
Present manufacturing performance, risks and recovery plans to senior leadership.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline.
Master s degree in Engineering, Operations or Business Management is preferred.
18 25 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, assembly and test, OSAT, ATMP or a related high-volume electronics environment.
Minimum 8 10 years of experience leading manufacturing teams, managers or large production organizations.
Demonstrated experience in semiconductor test manufacturing or backend semiconductor operations.
Proven responsibility for production output, yield, equipment utilization, quality, cost and cycle time.
Experience managing 24 7 manufacturing operations and multi-shift teams.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing planning, capacity modelling and resource allocation.
Experience working with engineering, quality, planning, maintenance and supply-chain functions.
