The Judge Group is seeking a Senior Hardware Engineer (Logic Design Engineer) in Alpharetta, GA with 7+ years of experience of full lifecycle hardware engineering with VHDL / Verilog experience for an International Commercial Airline manufacturing company. COMPENSATION: 160k to 180k
WORKSITE: Onsite NOT Remote
RELOCATION: Reasonable relocation assistance available for the right candidate
MUST HAVE: BS or MS in Electrical Engineering (EE)
MUST HAVE: 7+ years experience with firmware development
MUST HAVE: 7+ years in hardware engineering
MUST HAVE: Strong experience with VHDL / Verilog
MUST HAVE: Experience working on printed circuit boards from 8 to 16 Layers
MUST BE: A US Citizen or Green Card Holder
EXPERIENCE:
- Adhere to DO-254 (Design Assurance Guidance for Airborne Electronic Hardware) and specifically FPGAs (Field Programmable Gate Arrays) standards to develop firmware designs
Handle full life-cycle (Analysis, Development, PLD Review, Code / low-level testing, hardware test) engineering
- Perform and oversee PLD development processes, firmware changes, testing, debugging and source code review
- Existing system firmware integrations
- Develop simulation analysis and physical bench tests in the lab
- Participate in ROM estimates
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering (EE)
- 7+ years experience with firmware development
- 7+ years in hardware engineering
- Strong experience with VHDL / Verilog
- Strong digital logic design / verification understanding
- Strongh FPGAs development experience
- Strong experience with engineering tools (FPGA development environments / Programming and Debugging Tools)
