Experience: 9–12 years in embedded product development, including at least two products taken from architecture through pilot manufacturing. One medical, wearable or physiological-monitoring product is strongly preferred.
Education: BE/BTech or ME/MTech in ECE, EEE, Instrumentation or Biomedical Electronics.
Responsibilities:
Own the complete wearable hardware architecture.
Convert intended use into system and subsystem requirements.
Select AFE, MCU, sensors, battery, PMIC and communication architecture.
Lead schematic, PCB, mechanical and firmware design reviews.
Own power, thermal, memory, BLE-throughput and battery budgets.
Coordinate component suppliers and China/Taiwan manufacturers.
Lead EVT/DVT bring-up, failure analysis and design transfer.
Ensure engineering evidence feeds the DHF and risk-management file.
Must have:
Mixed-signal, low-power and battery-operated product experience
BLE MCU integration and sensor interfaces
Oscilloscope, logic analyser, source meter and spectrum-analyser experience
Schematic and PCB review capability
DFM, pilot manufacturing and production-test experience
ISO 13485/ISO 14971 awareness
Interview requirement: Candidate must explain a product personally taken from schematic to manufacturing, including one major failure and how it was corrected.
