Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Functional Tester with 8+ years of experience in Functional Testing. The candidate will support complex end-to-end functional testing activities, contribute to test case creation and review, perform SIT testing, and support UAT while working closely with business stakeholders and distributed teams.
The ideal candidate should be independent, proactive, and possess strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Support end-to-end Functional Testing activities across applications and integrations
Contribute to test case creation, review, execution, and defect management
Perform System Integration Testing (SIT) and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Validate business workflows and end-to-end scenarios
Log, triage, prioritize, and track defects through resolution
Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and distributed teams
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and defect triage discussions
Communicate testing status, risks, issues, and dependencies effectively
Ensure high-quality deliverables within project timelines
Required Skills
Strong expertise in Functional Testing, System Testing, Integration Testing (SIT), and UAT Support
Strong understanding of Sprint Cycles, Backlog Grooming, and Defect Triage Calls
Hands-on experience in Defect Logging, Triaging, and Prioritization
Strong working knowledge of JIRA, Azure DevOps, TestRail, and ALM
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Proactive, ownership-driven mindset with the ability to work independently
Project Prerequisite
Experience in Insurance Domain, specifically Life & Pension
