Job title: Senior FPGA Design Engineer
Location: Massachusetts (USA)
Annual Salary: $110,000 - $175,000 per annum
Must be a USA Citizen
Company overview & Job Title:
A successful and established Engineering organisation located in Massachusetts (USA) who design and develop niche products & technology for Electronics, FPGAs & Security are hiring for a new Senior FPGA Design Engineer to join the team due to ongoing growth and development across the business.
Salary on offer & the right to work in the USA :
The annual salary on offer for the successful Senior FPGA Design Engineer is $150,000 - $215,000 per annum, depending on skillset and experience. The Senior FPGA Design Engineer must be a USA Citizen. Having security clearance, DoD clearance would be a bonus but not essential.
Summary of the FPGA Engineering Role:
The successful Senior FPGA Design Engineer will work in a cross-functional engineering team to lead the architecture, design, and development of FPGA-based systems for the company’s products and technology.
FPGA Engineer Key Skills:
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical field
5-10+ industry professional experience
FPGA design experience (RTL, simulation, synthesis tools, implementation, bring-up, and debug)
FPGA, RTL Design or ASIC Design - VHDL, Verilog or SystemVerilog
High Speed Digital Circuit Design
Experience with FPGA development tools – Xilinx Vivado, Altera Quartus Prime, Lattice, Altera, Microsemi, Intel
HDL Simulation tools - QuestaSim, ModelSim or similar
FPGAs modelling in MATLAB or Simulink
Network interfaces – SPI, I2C, USB, UART, RS232/485, PCIe, JESD204B/C, MIPI, DDR, Ethernet etc
Scripting - Python Perl, TCL/TK, Bash
Experience developing for FPGAs in Linux environments
Industry Cyber Intelligence, Defence, Aerospace, Military, Space, Security, Microelectronics, Cryptographic - Bonus
Must be USA Citizen
