A leading High-Tech Engineering Company located in Massachusetts (USA) who specialize in GPS Technology are now hiring for a brand-new Senior FPGA Design Engineer to join the innovative team and to be working on proven world-class technologies.

Salary on offer:
The annual salary on offer for the successful Senior FPGA Design Engineer is $150,000 - $220,000 per annum. The Senior FPGA Design Engineer will need to have US Citizenship. Any present level of Security Clearance is a huge bonus.

Summary of the Senior FPGA Design Engineering Role:
The successful Senior FPGA Design Engineer will be responsible for FPGA design, board-level hardware, and system architecture—solving complex problems involving high-speed interfaces, tight timing margins, and system-level constraints.

Senior FPGA Design Engineer Key Skills:
Education – Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience
5-10+ years hands-on experience in FPGA design and development
Proficient in ASIC, FPGA, RTL design experience using VHDL, Verilog, System Verilog
Knowledge/experience of Xilinx SoC’s FPGA’s, CPU’s
High Speed Circuit Design
ASIC experience with Cadence or Synopsys tools or FPGA experience with Xilinx, Altera and/or Actel devices and flows
Proficient in the use of FPGA simulation and synthesis tools
Simulation tool - AMD Vivado, Intel Quartus Prime, ModelSim, Lattics FPGA
Network interfaces – SPI, I2C, USB, UART, RS232/485, Ethernet, DDR4, PCIe, MIPI, SerDes
Embedded C, C++ - Bonus
Python, Bash Scripting, TCL – Bonus
Technical expertise in FPGA development across the full lifecycle from RTL design, verification, synthesis, timing analysis, and bring up/validation
Experience in Defense, Space, Aerospace, Military or similar safety critical industries
Any present Security Clearance is a huge bonus
Strong problem-solving skills, innovative, communication and team-work skills
