Senior Engineer

Join our team to design and develop Platform Driver Layer (PDL) software for Infineon Microcontrollers and Connectivity solutions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on device driver development for advanced technologies including Video, ISP, Graphics, Cryptography, Machine Learning, Flash Memory, and Power Management, while contributing to both pre-silicon FPGA bring-up and post-silicon validation activities.

Your role

Key responsibilities in your new role

Design, develop, and maintain embedded software and Platform Driver Layer (PDL) components for microcontrollers and connectivity products.
Develop and optimize device drivers on RTOS platforms for peripherals and subsystems such as Video, ISP, Graphics, Crypto, ML accelerators, Flash, and Power Management.
Participate in pre-silicon validation and FPGA bring-up activities, as well as post-silicon debugging and system enablement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support software integration, validation, and product development.
Apply strong fundamentals of embedded systems, operating systems, and digital signal processing to solve complex technical challenges.
Contribute to software quality, performance optimization, and debugging activities throughout the development lifecycle.

Your profile

Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in embedded software development or a related domain.
Strong programming skills in C/C++.
Must have Strong understanding of ARM architecture, low-level register configuration, and peripheral interfacing.
Good understanding of RTOS, Linux, and embedded system concepts.
Knowledge of operating system fundamentals and digital signal processing concepts.
Experience with Python and Shell scripting for automation and development workflows.
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
