Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Embedded Systems Engineer with a strong emphasis on electronics design and ECAD to lead the architecture, design, and prototyping of embedded electronic systems. This role spans the full product lifecycle—from initial concept and system architecture through prototype development, validation, and production-ready design—with a particular focus on PCB/FPC design, sensor systems, power electronics, and firmware integration.
Key Responsibilities
Define system architecture, subsystem specifications, and technical requirements.
Evaluate and select new technologies, components, and electronic solutions.
Design sensor interfaces, analog front-end circuits, and data acquisition systems.
Design and optimize multi-layer PCB and FPC layouts, including mixed-signal and high-speed designs.
Develop power management and battery system architectures.
Create schematics and ECAD designs using tools such as Altium or Cadence.
Develop embedded firmware using C/C++.
Implement control algorithms, including PID and other closed-loop control systems.
Integrate communication protocols including I2C, SPI, UART, USB, and BLE.
Develop test automation scripts and perform system and board-level validation.
Collaborate with mechanical engineering teams on FPC integration, PCB stack-up, bend radius, packaging, and routing constraints.
Work with electronics manufacturing services (EMS) partners on manufacturing readiness and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) optimization.
Lead prototype bring-up, board-level debugging, rework, troubleshooting, and validation.
Support Design for Reliability (DFR), signal integrity, power integrity, and EMI/EMC considerations throughout the design proces
REQUIRED EXPEREINCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Master's degree in Embedded Systems, Electronics, or a related discipline preferred.
Experience
7–12 years of experience in embedded systems development and electronics design.
5+ years of hands-on PCB design experience, including schematic capture, layout, routing, and board bring-up.
Proven experience designing multi-layer, mixed-signal, and power electronics systems.
Strong hands-on experience with ECAD/EDA tools, particularly Altium or Cadence.
Required Technical Qualifications
Strong system-level design and electronics architecture experience.
Extensive experience designing analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits.
Hands-on expertise in PCB and FPC design, including schematic capture, layout, stack-up, and routing.
Experience with high-density interconnect (HDI), impedance control, signal integrity, and power integrity.
Knowledge of power electronics and battery systems.
Proficiency with Altium or Cadence for PCB design.
Embedded C/C++ development experience with platforms such as ARM Cortex-M, RTOS, and Linux.
Familiarity with wireless protocols and hardware/software integration.
