About Us
We are an innovative R&D-driven technology company working at the intersection of design, mechanical engineering, electronics, software and embedded systems for cutting-edge applications in medical devices, optics, and automation.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Principal Electronics & Embedded Engineer to take on a leadership role that will oversee all aspects related to electronics and embedded systems within the company. This role is ideal for someone who can manage and mentor a team of 4–5 engineers, interface with cross-functional teams (software, mechanical, product, and manufacturing), build strong relationships with vendors in the electronics supply chain, and ensure technical excellence across all projects.
While this is a senior leadership role, we value hands-on technical expertise — you will be expected to roll up your sleeves, dive deep into design, testing, and troubleshooting, and actively contribute to the execution of projects.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and analysis of analog and digital electronic circuits, schematics, and PCBs (including high-speed designs).
Own the entire electronics and embedded systems function on assigned projects
Assist the Head of Electronics to plan, manage, track and report the stage of various electronics projects
Manage, mentor, and develop a team of electronics and embedded engineers.
Drive component selection, BOM creation, and vendor coordination for the electronics supply chain.
Ensure timely execution of projects by managing priorities, resources, and schedules.
Collaborate closely with software, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless system integration.
Assemble and test circuits on breadboards, prototype PCBs, and development boards.
Troubleshoot and debug electronic circuits, firmware, and system-level issues.
Lead compliance testing and validation according to relevant standards, including IEC 60601, IEC 62304 and other applicable regulations.
Maintain thorough documentation for designs, test procedures, and validation reports.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or related field.
Experience: 10+ years in electronics and embedded systems development, with at least 3+ years in a leadership or team management role.
Core Skills
Expert proficiency in analog, digital, and high-speed circuit and PCB design.
Strong knowledge of circuit schematics, component selection, and system design principles.
Proficiency with PCB design tools (Altium or equivalent).
PCB manufacturing documentation skills — including Gerber file generation, assembly drawings, fabrication notes, and DFM checks.
Expertise in embedded firmware and low-level system software development, including device drivers, BSPs, HALs, bootloaders, RTOS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr, etc.), embedded Linux, board bring-up, and hardware-software integration.
Strong embedded systems development experience across multiple microcontroller and processor platforms, including ARM Cortex-M/A, STM32, Infineon PSoC, NXP, PIC, TI, Nordic, ESP32, and similar embedded architectures.
Electronic and electrical simulation skills
Ability to design and create wiring and harness drawings to industry standards.
Hands-on experience with prototyping, breadboard testing, and debugging.
Familiarity with oscilloscopes, logic analysers, and signal generators.
Deep understanding of datasheets, power electronics, sensors, and communication protocols (UART, I2C, SPI, etc.)
Expertise in EMC/EMI compliance testing and product certification.
In-depth knowledge of medical device design standards (IEC 60601, IEC 62304) and safety-critical system design.
Complete knowledge of Electronic Testing for Verification & Validation
Strong project management skills with the ability to lead teams and meet deadlines.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
Preferred / Bonus Skills
FPGA design and development (VHDL/Verilog) with hands-on experience on platforms such as Xilinx Zynq, Intel/Altera Cyclone/Arria, or Lattice ECP/ICE series.
Experience with imaging sensors and image processing pipelines
Experience with optics and laser control.
Work with single-board computers (SBCs) such as Radxa Zero, Raspberry Pi, or similar.
Why Join Us
Leadership role with a high degree of ownership and impact.
Competitive salary based on experience.
Hands-on work with cutting-edge technologies in medical devices and advanced electronics.
Opportunities for professional growth and strategic influence in the company’s roadmap.
Collaborative and innovative work environment that values technical excellence.
If you are an accomplished electronics and embedded systems leader who can inspire a team, drive innovation, and still remain deeply hands-on in execution, we’d love to hear from you. Apply now and help us engineer the future.
