About Xook
At Xook, we are building a new food distribution model powered by a fleet of fully cloud-controlled robots. We believe in a future where every person can have freshly made food tailored to their personalized taste using digital recipes, IoT, and robotics.
As an engineer joining us during our global commercialization phase, you will work closely with founders, customers, and vendors across the globe, solving complex problems across the stack and growing alongside the company. We strive to build a culture that encourages autonomy, constant innovation, open feedback, and learning from mistakes.

Position Overview
We are seeking an ambitious, highly skilled Electronics Design Engineer/Lead (4+ years of experience) to join our core engineering team. This role is for a hardware veteran—someone who has not only designed complex circuits but has successfully guided those designs through to mass production and into the hands of global consumers.
If you are a master at bridging the gap between a high-performance prototype and a robust, high-volume, market-ready device, we want you on our team.

Key Responsibilities
Hardware & PCB Architecture: Lead the architecture, schematic capture, and expert-level multi-layer PCB layout (High-speed, HDI, Rigid-Flex). Design robust analog, digital, power management, and motor driver/control circuits.
Simulation & Analysis: Conduct SPICE simulations and Signal/Power Integrity (SI/PI) analysis to preemptively solve EMI/EMC issues.
Mass Production & DFX: Implement rigorous DFM, DFA, and DFT principles to ensure high production yields. Own the technical transition from EVT to PVT and full-scale mass production.
Technical Liaison: Act as the primary technical interface with manufacturers to resolve fabrication constraints, PCB stack-up issues, and assembly bottlenecks.
Validation & Global Compliance: Lead deep-dive troubleshooting using high-end lab equipment (Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers) and drive products through global regulatory compliance (UL, CE, FCC, BIS, RoHS, REACH).
Technical Leadership: Act as the "technical North Star" for the hardware team by reviewing peer designs, establishing standardized checklists, and refining internal workflows.

Must-Have Requirements
Experience: 4+ years of hardware engineering experience.
Proven Track Record: At least one project where you played a lead role in a product that successfully reached mass production and wide customer adoption.
PCB Expert: Mastery of Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or OrCAD, with deep knowledge of stack-up design, impedance control, and thermal management.
Mass Production Literacy: Hands-on experience creating Production Test Fixtures and working within ICT (In-Circuit Testing) and FCT (Functional Circuit Testing) environments.
Diagnostics Expertise: Practical experience instrumenting systems to isolate faults and resolve issues deterministically using telemetry.
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.

Preferred Expertise (Nice-to-Haves)
Experience with High-Density Interconnect (HDI), micro-via technology, and failure analysis techniques (X-ray, cross-sectioning).
Deep knowledge of DC-DC converters, high-speed interfaces (USB 3.0, PCIe, DDR), and low-power wireless integration.
Familiarity with Component Engineering to assist procurement with alternative parts for end-of-life (EOL) components.

What We Offer
The chance to work on cutting-edge autonomous robotics and IoT technology.
A high-ownership, highly collaborative startup environment.
Direct global impact working with international vendors and customers.
