Position Summary
We are seeking a Principal Electronics Engineer with extensive experience designing, troubleshooting, and improving complex electronic products throughout their entire lifecycle. This role is ideal for an engineer who has taken products from concept to production, resolved field and manufacturing issues, performed root-cause analysis, and implemented successful redesigns.
Key Responsibilities
Experience leading the design and development of power electronic and mixed-signal systems.
Own products throughout the full lifecycle, including design, validation, production support, and continuous improvement.
Investigate hardware and system failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
Drive redesign efforts to improve reliability, performance, manufacturability, and cost.
Perform circuit design, simulation, testing, and system integration.
Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, suppliers, and customers to resolve technical challenges.
Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership on complex engineering programs.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Electrical Engineering.
10+ years of experience in power electronics, mixed-signal design, aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated industries.
Proven experience taking products through multiple design iterations and full product lifecycles.
Strong troubleshooting, failure analysis, and root-cause investigation skills.
Experience with Altium, OrCAD, PSPICE, or similar design and simulation tools.
Hands-on experience with electronic test equipment and hardware validation.
Ideal Candidate
Has owned products beyond initial release and supported them through real-world operational challenges.
Excels at diagnosing complex technical issues and implementing long-term solutions.
Has successfully led redesign and continuous improvement initiatives.
Brings a practical, hands-on approach to engineering and problem-solving.
