Senior Electrical Engineer

Ronkonkoma, NY

An established and growing manufacturer of electronics for harsh-environment applications is hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer to provide technical leadership across the full product lifecycle, from requirements and architecture through qualification, production, and sustainment. This role combines hands-on analog and digital hardware design with technical mentorship and cross-functional support for manufacturing, suppliers, and legacy products.

Schedule Full-time, on-site.

Compensation $140,000 - $180,000 per year

What You'll Do You will perform analog and digital hardware design, analysis, simulation, and verification for harsh-environment applications, optimizing complex design tradeoffs across performance, cost, schedule, and risk. You will develop clear requirements and design documentation, then present your designs at technical reviews.

Beyond design, you will support manufacturing, suppliers, and legacy products through hands-on troubleshooting and analysis. You will also mentor engineers, contribute to proposals and cost estimates, and support technical hiring decisions.
