We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to support the design, development, testing, and qualification of advanced aerospace electronic systems. Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, you will take ownership of complex hardware throughout the product lifecycle, from requirements definition and design through integration, testing, and qualification. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy hands-on technical work, solving challenging problems, and delivering high-performance hardware for demanding applications.
What You'll Do
Design and develop analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power electronic hardware
Perform circuit analysis, simulation, component selection, and technical trade studies
Develop schematics and support PCB layout activities
Design, integrate, test, and troubleshoot complex electronic systems
Support hardware through prototype, qualification, and production phases
Collaborate with systems, firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers
Participate in design reviews, root-cause investigations, and technical decision-making activities
Generate engineering documentation, test procedures, and technical reports
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers as needed
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline
5-10 years of professional electrical engineering experience
Strong foundation in analog, digital, mixed-signal, and/or power electronics design
Experience developing electronic hardware from concept through testing and validation
Experience with circuit analysis, simulation, debugging, and troubleshooting
Experience with schematic capture, PCB development, and hardware integration
Familiarity with laboratory test equipment and hardware validation activities
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams
Demonstrated ownership mentality and ability to independently execute technical tasks
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with aerospace, defense, or other high-reliability electronic systems
Experience designing DC-DC converters, inverters, power distribution systems, or motor control electronics
Experience with FPGA-based or microcontroller-based control systems
Experience with cryogenic electronics or cryocooler control systems
Experience with sensor interfaces, imaging electronics, or signal processing systems
Experience owning hardware through the full lifecycle from requirements through qualification
Experience mentoring junior engineers and supporting technical development
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $140,000 - $200,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated capability.
Performance Bonus: Eligible employees participate in an annual bonus program based on individual contribution and company performance.
