Summary
The Ash Group is hiring a Sr Electrical Engineer (24474) for our client, a global leader providing advanced systems and support in defense, aerospace, and security. This is a 12-month contract working in Maple Grove, MN (Onsite). We are offering a pay rate up to $60 per hour based on skill set.
Role Details
Compensation: Up to $60/hr W2
Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, and direct primary care benefits. After six months of employment, enjoy a 4% matched 401(k) plan with immediate 100% vesting.
Duration: 12-month contract
Location: Maple Grove, MN (Onsite)
Senior Electrical Engineer responsible for designing, testing, and fielding advanced electrical and electronic systems for military platforms. Works on combat vehicles, gun systems, and guided munitions, providing detailed engineering analysis and technical documentation. This 12‑month onsite contract offers a 9/80 schedule with opportunities to collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
Research and develop electrical and electronic system designs for military platforms
Plan and conduct circuit design and analysis for analog and digital systems
Create and manage interface control documents and technical data packages
Perform circuit simulation using PSpice or LTspice
Evaluate vendor capabilities and technologies for system integration
Develop technical documentation including drawings, reports, and analysis
Provide detailed engineering analysis of components, subsystems, and systems
Interpret and produce schematics and interconnect drawings
Communicate technical results to customers and stakeholders
Coordinate integration and verification procedures for complex systems
Qualifications
3+ years relevant experience with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field, or 2+ years with a Master’s degree
Experience with analog and digital circuit design and analysis
Experience developing technical documentation such as drawings, reports, and technical analysis
Ability to solve moderately complex technical design and development problems requiring professional engineering knowledge
Experience creating, reading, and comprehending schematics and interconnect drawings
Ability to create and manage interface control documents
Ability to perform circuit simulation (PSpice or LTspice)
Effective verbal and written communication skills to convey data, information, and technical results
