SkyWater is partnering with a high growth medical device company in the South Metro to find a Senior Electrical Engineer for their team! This is an exciting role for an experienced electrical engineer who wants to do meaningful technical work at a company on the cusp of some exciting growth. Our client is a small, cutting-edge medical equipment manufacturer who’s an innovator in their field and have developed a unique platform that is fundamentally different from competitors in their space. They’re looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer who can own the design, development, and validation of electrical systems for medical equipment used in cardiac ablation procedures. The work spans analog & digital circuit design, Verification & Validation testing, DFMEA, and cross-functional collaboration with software, regulatory, and quality teams. Responsibilities:
Own the full lifecycle of electrical hardware development (from design, prototyping, testing, and transfer to manufacturing).
Design and evaluate analog & digital circuits, power systems, and electrical enclosures to meet performance, safety, and cost requirements.
Develop and execute test plans to verify & validate electrical designs against applicable standards and regulatory requirements.
Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis efforts when issues arise during development, testing, or in the field.
Contribute to risk management activities including failure mode analysis and design-for-reliability reviews throughout the product development process.
Partner closely with cross-functional teams such as software, quality, regulatory, and manufacturing to drive products from concept to commercialization.
Generate and maintain thorough engineering documentation in compliance with medical device quality system requirements.
Other responsibilities or projects as assigned.

Desired Skills & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Master’s Degree a plus).
5+ years of electrical engineering experience and experience with analog or digital circuit design preferred.
Experience working in the medical device industry or a similarly regulated industry (aerospace, defense, etc.).
Experience developing and executing verification & validation protocols.
Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
