Senior Electrical Engineer (Aerospace/Defense)
Are you an Electrical Engineer who wants to own full systems — not just design one piece of the board?
Do you enjoy taking products from concept through to build and validation, rather than handing designs off?
Want to work on real space hardware supporting next-generation control systems?
Join a high-performing aerospace & defense engineering team developing advanced fluid control and actuation systems for space applications. This is a role where you’ll have real ownership — acting as the primary Senior Electrical Engineer on your projects, working across the full development lifecycle.
What You’ll Be Doing as a Senior Electrical Engineer:
• Owning electrical development from requirements through to validation
• Designing control systems for motor-operated valves and actuation systems
• Leading circuit design, architecture, and system integration
• Supporting both new product development and enhancements to existing systems
• Managing 2–3 concurrent projects, with a strong focus on design and some hands-on lab work
• Working closely with mechanical, systems, and manufacturing teams
The Ideal Senior Electrical Engineer Will Bring:
• Experience with motor control or electromechanical systems
• Min 3+ years of relevant electrical design experience, including board-level (PCB/CCA) design
• Strong board-level circuit design ownership
• Solid background in analog circuit design
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams
Compensation : $125k - $145k (DOE)
Location : Whippany , NJ
Why Join as a Senior Electrical Engineer?
This is the kind of role where you’re trusted to take full ownership of your work. You won’t be boxed into a narrow scope — instead, you’ll be involved from early design decisions through to final validation, seeing your work come to life in real hardware.
You’ll be working on meaningful systems in the defense sector, where the engineering challenges are real and the impact of your work is visible.
