A hugely successful & established Engineering Company located in New York, USA who’re world leaders Aerospace, Defense, Space, and Industrial Applications are now hiring for a brand new Senior Electrical Engineer to join the team and business,
Salary on offer:
The annual salary on offer for the successful Senior Electrical Engineer is $120,000 - $180,000 per annum.
Summary of the Senior Electrical Engineer Role:
The successful Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for design, development, system architecture for Electronics Hardware Design, PCB Design, Power & Firmware Development.
Senior Electrical Engineer Key Skills:
Education – Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
Experienced in the full product design lifecycle
5-10 years industry professional experience
Electronics Circuit Design (analogue, digital & power circuit design)
PCB Design & Schematic Capture
Experience of Altium Designer, OrCAD, Panthoen, Cadence Allegro
Knowledge/experience of Power Electronics, Motor Control, DC/DC Converters, Motor Drives, SMPS, transistors, thyristors
Experience with Power devices MOSFET, IGBT, SiC and GaN
Network interfaces – SPI, I2C, USB, UART, RS232/485, Ethernet, PCIe, MIPI
Knowledge & experience of MIL-STD-1275/704/461 and DO-160 standards
Embedded C, C++, Python – Bonus
Experience with EMC/EMI, CE Marking, sensors, power management, and signal/power integrity
Circuit Simulation – LT Spice, P-Spice
Experience with Motor control simulation including MATLAB, Simulink or equivalent
Industry & Technology experience – Aerospace, Defense, Space, Industrial, Motion Control, Power Electronics
Good problem solving skills, innovative and enthusiastic
