About this Position:
This Senior Electrical Engineer role will lead the design and development of complex electrical systems for advanced sensing and counter-UAS platforms. The position is centred on high-speed digital, RF and mixed-signal circuit design, with ownership from concept and simulation through to prototype, verification and production.
Job Responsibilities:
Design complex high-speed digital, RF and mixed-signal circuits and PCB architectures.
Lead FPGA, processor and DDR-based hardware development.
Develop board stack-ups integrating high-frequency RF and digital components.
Support hardware bring-up, debugging, system integration and verification.
Conduct signal integrity, power integrity and EMI/EMC analysis.
Work with firmware, mechanical and manufacturing teams to take designs into production.
Experience Required:
Strong senior-level circuit design and simulation experience.
Proven experience with FPGA-based systems and high-speed digital design.
Mixed-signal PCB design experience combining RF and high-frequency digital electronics.
Experience with Software Defined Radio is highly desirable.
Proficiency with Altium, Allegro, Cadence or a comparable PCB design tool.
Strong knowledge of signal integrity, power integrity and EMI/EMC.
Experience within defence, aerospace, wireless, robotics or other complex hardware environments is advantageous.
