Senior Electrical Engineer
San Jose, CA (Initially Fully Remote)
I am partnering with a rapidly growing defense technology company developing next-generation autonomous systems and advanced hardware solutions. As the organization expands its Silicon Valley presence, they are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a highly collaborative engineering team focused on designing and deploying mission-critical technology.
This role will initially be fully remote. The successful candidate will transition to a hybrid/in-office schedule once the company establishes its San Jose office location.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and validate electrical systems and hardware for advanced technology products.
Create schematics, PCB layouts, and supporting electrical documentation.
Perform circuit analysis, component selection, and system integration activities.
Support prototype development, testing, debugging, and design verification.
Support transition from prototype development to production.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
Experience designing and developing complex electrical hardware systems.
Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design principles.
Experience with schematic capture and PCB design tools.
Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, logic analyzers, and multimeters.
