About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer (PE) to lead the design and execution of medium and low-voltage power distribution systems for industrial EPC projects. This position serves as the Electrical Engineer of Record and provides technical leadership throughout the design, engineering, procurement, and construction lifecycle.
This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed engineer who enjoys technical leadership, client interaction, mentoring junior engineers, and working on complex industrial projects across oil & gas, chemical processing, manufacturing, and energy facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as Electrical Engineer of Record (PE) for industrial facility projects.
Lead the design and review of medium and low-voltage power distribution systems.
Develop electrical studies, equipment specifications, and engineering calculations.
Review, seal, and approve electrical design documents.
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to engineering teams.
Coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
Support project proposals, budgeting, and client presentations.
Monitor project schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
Conduct site visits and field support during construction and commissioning activities.
Qualifications
Required
✔ Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
✔ Professional Engineer (PE) License
✔ 10+ years of industrial electrical engineering experience
✔ Strong knowledge of medium and low-voltage power distribution systems
✔ Experience with motor control centers (MCCs), VFDs, and three-phase power systems
✔ Ability to independently manage multiple projects and provide technical leadership
Preferred
✔ Experience with SKM or ETAP power system modeling
✔ Oil & Gas, Chemical Processing, Refining, or Industrial Manufacturing experience
✔ Multiple state PE licenses
✔ Utility coordination and power company negotiation experience

Travel approximately 10-20%
