Role Overview
We are expanding our engineering team and are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join us at our corporate headquarters in Beverly, Massachusetts.

In this role, you will design and develop complex electrical and electromechanical systems used in advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment. You will collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions while supporting new product development and sustaining engineering initiatives.

Responsibilities
Design, develop, modify, and evaluate electronic components, assemblies, integrated circuits, and hardware systems for advanced electrical engineering applications.
Execute engineering projects involving electromechanical systems, including:
Power distribution systems
Vacuum systems
High-voltage systems
Control systems
Robotics
Safety interlocks
Electrostatic chuck technologies
Ensure adherence to the product development process, including requirements planning, schedule estimation, concept reviews, design reviews, verification, and validation testing.
Partner with design services groups and offshore engineering teams to deliver high-quality designs and meet project timelines.
Analyze equipment performance, establish operating data, conduct experimental testing, and evaluate results.
Ensure designs meet technical objectives as well as safety, SEMI industry standards, and customer-specific requirements.
Select components and equipment based on technical specifications, reliability, and performance requirements.
Evaluate vendor capabilities and support supplier engagement during product development activities.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical or electronic hardware design as an individual contributor.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience leading or participating in technical design reviews with cross-functional engineering teams.
Experience working within formal engineering change management processes, including Engineering Change Notices (ECNs).
Broad experience in systems engineering and/or PCB design.
Hands-on experience with high-voltage, plasma, or ion beam technologies.
Experience within semiconductor capital equipment environments, particularly front-end semiconductor processes such as ion implantation systems.

Related industry experience will also be considered, including highly complex electromechanical systems used in industries such as medical devices (e.g., MRI systems), scientific instrumentation, aerospace, or industrial automation.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Creo Schematic, Creo Cabling, and/or AutoCAD.
Familiarity with Windchill PLM.
Proficiency with electrical design and simulation tools such as Altium Designer, PADS, or PSpice.
Experience designing complex electrical systems for highly regulated or precision manufacturing environments.
