What You’ll Do

As part of a security‑focused customer project, you will be responsible for operating and evolving an on‑prem Elasticsearch platform running on Kubernetes (ECK). Your responsibilities will include:

Administering and operating Elastic clusters on Kubernetes, including deployments, upgrades, scaling, and day‑to‑day operations
Monitoring platform health, incident response, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
Designing and maintaining high availability, backup/restore, and disaster recovery strategies
Optimizing indexing, ES|QL queries, and overall cluster performance
Supporting security configurations such as RBAC, access control, and audit logging
Maintaining operational documentation and runbooks, and participating in an on‑call rotation

What You’ll Need

We are seeking individuals who are team players with an analytical mindset. You’ll succeed in this position if you have:

Strong hands‑on experience with the Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana, Fleet Server, Elastic Agent, ingest pipelines)
Solid experience with production support and Day‑2 operations in on‑prem Kubernetes environments
Good knowledge of Linux systems, networking, and storage
Experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, or similar
Scripting or automation experience (Python, Bash, or similar)

Experience in security or SIEM environments, and with Kafka‑based ingestion pipelines, is a plus.
