Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled SMT Hardware Test Engineer to support the design, validation, testing, and debugging of complex electronic hardware systems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in hardware architecture, schematic design, PCB layout, and board-level debugging, along with knowledge of high-speed interfaces and communication protocolsKey Responsibilities
Responsbilities :
Design, develop, test, and debug electronic hardware systems and PCB assemblies.
Create and review electrical schematics and PCB layouts using Allegro or similar CAD tools.
Perform board bring-up, validation, failure analysis, and root cause investigations.
Develop test plans, execute validation procedures, and document test results.
Troubleshoot analog, digital, and power electronics circuits to identify and resolve hardware issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, firmware, and system engineering teams.
Conduct experiments and provide clear technical recommendations for hardware improvements.
Support SMT manufacturing, prototype builds, and production testing activities.
Ensure compliance with quality, reliability, and performance requirements.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of experience in hardware design, validation, or testing.
Strong understanding of analog, digital, and power electronics architectures and design principles.
Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout design using Allegro or equivalent CAD tools.
Ability to design, debug, and analyze complex electrical schematics and PCB designs.
Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and power supplies.
Working knowledge of: USB 3.2, USB Power Delivery (USB-PD), DisplayPort, PCIe, I2C & SPI
Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to engineering teams and leadership.
