Skills and Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain strong and positive working relationships with clients, public agency personnel and in-house professional peers.
Manage multiple and concurrent project designs.
Communicate project requirements to team members.
Management of project design, including daily assignments of work, review of work, and quality control.
Prepare grading and public improvement plans from conceptual design to entitlements to final construction documents to permitting.
Prepare technical reports/studies of project deliverables (performs advanced to expert computations and/or analysis).
If Licensed, signing and stamping plans/drawings and technical reports (project based).
Technical knowledge in multi-discipline projects and design.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Mentoring and training staff and serving as a resource to less experienced staff members.
Coordinate staff resources with the Project Manager of the project and/or Staff Lead Engineer.
Excellent time management skills.
Complete large projects independently, without much guidance, using critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to explain and teach standard process to design, develop, document, review.
Land Development experience.
Stormwater and hydrology experience preferred.
Federal experience preferred.
Experience:
Min. 6 years of engineering experience
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college (ABET)
PE License in CA preferred
