🕒 Full-Time | Mid–Senior Level

Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior Design Engineer to lead the design, development, testing, and refinement of electromechanical mechanisms and systems for aerospace applications. This role requires strong technical leadership, independent judgment, and the ability to guide complex engineering efforts from concept through production and certification.

You will act as a technical authority, driving engineering excellence, solving complex design challenges, and collaborating with cross-functional teams and customers.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of electromechanical components and systems from concept through production and certification
Serve as a subject matter expert across design, analysis, testing, and sustaining engineering
Develop and execute test plans; analyze results and support qualification and certification efforts
Perform engineering analyses including stress, material selection, safety, and performance validation
Identify and mitigate technical and program risks; contribute to development planning
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability, reliability, and cost efficiency
Interface with customers to define requirements and deliver technical solutions
Evaluate and implement new technologies, materials, and methods to improve performance and reduce costs
Support production and resolve design-related manufacturing issues
Manage workload and contribute to project scheduling and delivery

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred)
7+ years of experience with mechanical, electromechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems in aerospace
10+ years of experience in mechanical design and product development preferred
Strong background in machine design, dynamics, and fluid mechanics
Experience with aerospace materials and manufacturing processes (machining, casting, forming, welding, molding, etc.)
Proficiency in engineering drawings and GD&T standards
Advanced CAD skills (SolidWorks preferred)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and presentation abilities
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed

Additional Requirements
Must be eligible to comply with U.S. export regulations (ITAR / EAR)
