Job Description
The Senior Quality Assurance Test Engineer will join an already successful team to grow our projects, other staff, and personally through the firm’s commitment to our people. An experienced Quality Assurance Analyst who brings in mature technical skills, continually advancing themselves through training, involvement with product launches, and is active within the team dynamics will find themselves at home with Myers and Stauffer. Our knowledgeable staff will partner with you in your career journey with us. Whether it be our software that manages billions of dollars of state and federal budgets, processes that consume billions of claims, custom portals for provider/client use, or the FBI/DOJ work to fight fraud, waste, and abuse, work is never dull in seeing the direct impact we have across the nation. Essential Functions And Primary Duties
Collaborate with technical and business subject matter experts to understand requirements and technical designs.
Review requirements, user stories, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts; knowledge of front-end automation testing is a plus.
Contribute to building automation test frameworks.
Perform API testing.
Optimize test scripts for performance, stability, and maintainability.
Prepare test data and oversee readiness of test environments.
Identify, document, report, and track QA defects.
Track QA metrics such as test execution metrics, automation coverage, and defect metrics.
Preferred Qualifications
3 years of related work experience; 5+ years preferred.
Experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Knowledge of current software QA methodologies and tools.
Experience in Automation using Object Oriented Programming languages is preferred.
CI/CD experience is a plus.
Experience with performance testing tools.
Experience testing Desktop, Web Applications, large amounts of Data, and Reports.
Knowledge of accessibility testing/tools.
Experience working with complex SQL queries.
Experience working with Version Control Systems.
Strong Analytical, Problem-solving, and debugging skills.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Work independently, be engaged and willing to ask questions.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
