Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ATE Test Engineer to join our team. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between sub-micron optical alignment and high-speed digital silicon validation. You will be responsible for the end-to-end validation PIC (Photonic Integrated Circuit) characterization, EIC (CMOS Chips) and high-volume production on industry-leading ATE platforms.
Your Core Impact:
Silicon Photonics Validation: Own the post-silicon validation lifecycle for cutting-edge Silicon Photonics ICs.
Hardware Innovation: Collaborate with PCB layout teams to develop schematics and design guidelines for probe cards and final test load boards.
Program & Automate: Code robust ATE test programs from scratch using C#, C++, Python, or VB.
Silicon Bring-up: Drive debugging and characterization efforts alongside Design and DFT teams on advanced tester platforms.
Mass Production Release: Take full ownership from initial datasheet analysis to releasing final production-quality wafer test programs.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience: 5 to 10 years of deep expertise in the Semiconductor industry.
Domain Focus: Proven exposure to Mixed-Signal, Digital, or High-Speed RF domains and Open to learn & develop Test Solution for Silicon Photonics ICs
ATE Platform Mastery: Hands-on experience with tester platforms such as Teradyne (Microflex, UFlex, UFlex+) or Advantest (V93K – Smart Scale. Exa Scale). HVM transfer in both Wafer sort and Final/Package test is advantage.
Leadership & Communication: Ability to act as the primary technical interface for global customers, manage vendor relationships, and lead project lifecycles.
Key Qualifications
Education: B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
Product Expertise: Prior experience in CMOS IC testing at Wafer level and Package level is must. Exposure to PIC (Photonic Integrated Circuit) and Optical Transceiver product design, testing is advantage.
ATE Expertise (Mandatory): Hands-on experience in HW design (load boards/DIBs) and test program development on the latest Advantest or Teradyne High Speed Digital tester platforms for Wafer / Package level test.
Programming (Mandatory): Strong skills in Python for test automation and data analysis.
