We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated RTL Design Engineer with strong expertise in microarchitecture design and RTL development for advanced semiconductor and SoC solutions. This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy designing high-performance digital hardware, taking ownership of complex RTL implementation, and contributing to the development of next-generation processor and IP solutions.
As an RTL Design Engineer, you will be responsible for translating architectural specifications into high-quality RTL, collaborating with architecture, verification, and integration teams, and ensuring successful implementation of complex digital designs. The role requires strong technical expertise, analytical thinking, and the ability to drive end-to-end design activities from microarchitecture through integration and debugging.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop high-quality RTL for complex digital IPs and SoC components based on architectural specifications
Own RTL implementation from microarchitecture definition through coding, review, and design closure
Develop robust and scalable microarchitecture solutions that meet performance, power, and area targets
Collaborate closely with architecture, verification, and integration teams throughout the design lifecycle
Work on processor-based designs with a strong focus on ARM Cortex-M7 architecture and related subsystems
Support IP integration activities by resolving design issues and ensuring seamless interoperability across SoC components
Perform RTL debugging, root-cause analysis, and functional issue resolution during development and integration
Review design specifications and contribute to architectural discussions to improve implementation quality
Ensure compliance with coding standards, design methodologies, and industry best practices
Participate in design reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance design quality and efficiency
Support verification teams by clarifying design intent and resolving functional issues during simulation and validation
What Makes You a Great Fit
7+ years of experience in RTL Design within the semiconductor industry
Strong hands-on expertise in RTL development using Verilog/SystemVerilog
Proven experience in microarchitecture design and implementation of complex digital hardware
Strong understanding of ARM Cortex-M7 (CM7) architecture and processor-based designs
Experience working on SoC integration or IP-level development projects
Solid RTL debugging skills with the ability to analyze and resolve complex design issues
Good understanding of digital design principles, timing, synthesis, and design optimization techniques
Familiarity with AMBA, AXI, or AHB bus protocols is an added advantage
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging capabilities
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across architecture, verification, and integration teams
Self-driven mindset with strong ownership, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering high-quality silicon-ready designs
