Senior ASIC Product Engineer

As an ASIC Product Engineer for memory controller specializing in NPI and HVM, you will be a critical bridge connecting design, test, manufacturing, and product teams. Your role involves ensuring a smooth transition from design to production, testability, managing the manufacturing process, supporting customer RMA and optimizing yield. Here are the key responsibilities and qualifications:

New Product Introduction (NPI):

• Collaborate with design teams during the final stages of ASIC development.

• Validate and optimize the design for testability and manufacturability.

• Develop and execute NPI plans, including test and validation strategies.

• Be responsible for ASIC qualification including HTOL and ELFR.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful tape-out and transition to production.

• Leverage AI/ML and agentic workflows to improve ASIC test development and yield analysis efficiency.

• Apply data-driven and AI-assisted methodologies to accelerate NPI ramp and failure analysis.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI tools into ATE development and debug.

High-Volume Manufacturing (HVM):

• Drive internal and external customer RMA triage.

• Oversee the production ramp-up process.

• Monitor yield, quality, and performance metrics.

• Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues.

• Implement process improvements to enhance yield and reduce defects.

• Coordinate with foundries, assembly and ATE test partners.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives.

• Apply data-driven and AI-assisted methodologies to accelerate lot disposition and test optimization (TTR, coverage, and cycle time reduction)

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI tools into high-volume manufacturing workflows.
