Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Embedded / Analog Power Electronics Engineer to support the development of low-voltage amplifier products currently in early prototype stages. This is a Sr Level Individual Contributor and we’ re looking for someone who can contribute immediately with minimal ramp-up.
The end product is an Audio Amplification system for alarm systems, though no Audio experience is not required. The ideal candidate has strong analog fundamentals, power conversion experience, and is comfortable troubleshooting hardware hands-on in the lab.
Project Overview
Two amplifier designs in development: 50W single-channel and 100W multi-channel
Input voltage: 24V
Switchable output range: 25–70V
Designs are complete and in first-round prototypes
Several months of remaining development work
Focus on distortion, efficiency, and reliability
Responsibilities
Review and refine designs at the schematic level (amplifier circuits, relays, isolation barriers)
Troubleshoot and debug prototype hardware in the lab
Support validation and testing using standard electronic test equipment
Analyze and reduce distortion and performance issues
Design, review, and troubleshoot DC-DC converters
Evaluate and apply power converter topologies
Collaborate with other engineers to resolve hardware issues
Document test results, findings, and design updates
Take on additional embedded hardware work as needed
Required Qualifications
Senior-level experience in analog electronics and embedded hardware design
Strong background in power electronics
Hands-on experience with DC-DC converters
Solid understanding of power converter topology
Experience working with high voltage, low power systems
Ability to perform schematic-level reviews
Hands-on lab experience supporting hardware tests and debugging
Experience using oscilloscopes, power supplies, electronic loads, and similar test equipment
Well organized and able to work independently with minimal oversight
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with more complex or isolated power converter designs
Exposure to audio-adjacent systems or distortion analysis
Ability to manage multiple embedded hardware tasks
