We're hiring for Analog Layout Engineers
Experience: 4 to 8 Years
Location : Bangalore
Notice Period : Immediate to 30 Days
Role Description The Senior Analog Layout Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing robust analog layouts for complex integrated circuits, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and manufacturability. Day-to-day tasks include translating schematics into high-quality layouts, performing layout optimization for matching, noise, and parasitic effects, and collaborating closely with analog circuit designers, physical design teams, and verification engineers. The role involves running and analyzing physical verification checks (DRC/LVS/EM/IR), resolving layout issues, and maintaining design documentation and best practices. The engineer will contribute to design reviews, mentor junior layout engineers, and support tape-out activities across multiple technology nodes. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru South.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in layout design for analog and mixed-signal blocks, with hands-on experience in Layout Design and Custom Layout tools.
Solid understanding of Analog, Analog Circuits, and Circuit Design principles, including matching, device sizing, parasitics, and layout-dependent effects.
Experience with Physical Verification flows (DRC, LVS, EM/IR) and familiarity with industry-standard EDA tools and foundry design rules.
Background in semiconductor process technologies across multiple nodes (e.g., 65nm and below; advanced nodes exposure is a plus).
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field, with several years of relevant analog layout experience.
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, communicate clearly, and mentor less experienced engineers.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality and on-time project delivery.
