Job Description

As a Semiconductor Engineer I here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will contribute to the design, development, and optimization of semiconductor devices and integrated circuits that support our innovative product portfolio. Key Responsibilities

Requirements capture, architecture, design, implementation, verification, and system integration
Working with a team of engineers through the development of an ASIC/FPGA
Designing for compliance with DO-254
Preparing lifecycle documentation, including: planning documents, requirements documents, design documents, traceability data, and verification procedures
Supporting the execution of on-target testing and lab integration

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in technical disciplines such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
Minimum of 6 months of experience with ASIC/FPGA design languages, such as VHDL, Verilog, and/or SystemVerilog
Oral and written communication skills

WE VALUE

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
Basic Electrical Engineering troubleshooting capability
Experience in the use of HDL (VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog)
Experience in the use of ASIC/FPGA simulation tools, synthesis tools, and build tools
Experience with Microsoft Office tool suite
Experience with UNIX or Linux Operating Systems is preferred
Ability to work with teams of engineers
Internship experience in a past ASIC/FPGA role is preferred, or previous work or school experience on an ASIC/FPGA project
Self-motivated individuals are preferred
