SecDevOps Lead – REMOTE
Job Title: SecDevOps Lead

Job Summary
The SecDevOps Lead is responsible to perform overall Security/Development/Operations. Support system architecture, development and administration, automated testing and evaluation, cloud tools and infrastructure, and continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with SDD teams on infrastructure and cloud need to include researching, developing, and enhancing SecDevOps monitoring tools and processes.
Actively seeks knowledge and understanding of industry trends, innovative technologies, software development methods and tools to continuously improve and evolve the product architecture, user experience, and Agile development and SecDevOps practices.
Collaborate with stakeholders, support contractors, and third-party vendors throughout system integration, performance, security, Section 508, system acceptance, user acceptance, usability, and test and evaluation reporting.
Build and maintain a shared responsibility model for integrating security into the development pipeline.
Provide expert knowledge in continuous integrated security tools.
Build security tooling into the automated development pipeline.
Keep development team up to date with the latest security insights and tools
Support the cloud toolsets and monitor and maintain multiple environments with continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines that utilize automated builds, automated tests, and static analysis.
Proactively monitor the platform using DHS provided tools and interfaces are available and functioning properly.
Perform daily automated performance tests to ensure the responsiveness and stability of the platform and the systems that are integrated with it, are maintained.
Perform deployments automatically with deployment scripts, continuous delivery services, or similar techniques approved by government.
Work with the DHS OCIO Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to remediate any findings from regular security scans.
Update and assist with updating required security documentation for the platform, including but not limited to the System Security Plan.
Minimize use of special or custom hosting solutions or licenses that cannot be purchased through standard government contracts.
Ensure all development can be integrated with CI/CD tools.
Build metrics framework for capturing the required metrics.
Integrate with DHS standard monitoring tools, minimally Dynatrace and Splunk.
Ensure solution is deployable in Cloud Native technologies.
Create and maintain system architecture diagrams as required in deliverables.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, information technology/systems or equivalent.
Experience in security compliance, regulations, and best practices; automation and tooling; and incident response.
U.S. Citizenship (required as per Federal client)
