What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

Organize and conduct all Scrum ceremonies, including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
Train and coach team members on agile processes to ensure consistent understanding and application
Execute functional testing of web application features and document defects clearly
Build, maintain, and expand automated regression test suites using various testing frameworks
Collaborate with developers to define clear acceptance criteria and ensure stories are testable

What Is Required (Qualifications)

4+ years of applicable experience in software quality assurance and testing
Bachelor's degree or 2 years of additional relevant experience
Certified Scrum Master or equivalent certification, or 2 years of experience as a Scrum Master
Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks including Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
1+ year of experience with performance and load testing tools such as NeoLoad or JMeter

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Experience with the federal government
Degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
DHS Trusted Tester certification or equivalent accessibility certification
Familiarity with microservices architecture and container-based deployment patterns
Experience testing on open-source applications
